HVAC Field Training Supervisor

Job Description:

The HVAC Field Training Supervisors primary responsibilities include supervising and building a team of HVAC service techs, creating and presenting training, and dealing with customer issues.

What you will do:

  • Develop a culture of growth and performance
  • Maintain operational excellence in all parts of the business, invoice completion/ processing, inventory control, safety awareness, reporting and paperwork flow
  • Dramatically improve technician performance. Increase average ticket, increase closing rate, increase average monthly truck revenue, and increase leads
  • Maintain a 55% or greater gross profit margin.
  • Monitor and control callbacks
  • Oversee all customer concerns with timely resolution. Demonstrate 100% customer satisfaction with all customers. Be active in customer retention programs, i.e. Parker Family Plan.
  • Improve training programs for both technical and sales/ communication skills through both classroom studies and ride-a-longs.

What is Required:

  • 10 years of technical and or HVAC Service Supervisor experience
  • Ability to build and distribute training schedule’s as well as materials
  • Ability to hold in person training seminars and handle large groups of technicians
  • 5 years of training Nexstar HVAC service and maintenance system
  • Able to self-navigate thru the Nexstar web site materials and videos to use for trainings
  • Work well with a team and can handle discipline when needed
  • Able to deal with upset customers and deescalate situations
  • Staffing experience including interviewing, hiring, and retention
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen, have a social security card an maintain a clean driving record
